garden_pixieCheck out solar hot water heaters. There’s huge subsidies in Oregon to switch to solar hot water. I’m going to start shopping around for our house in Portland and with all the tax credits and rebates it looks pretty cheap and easy to accomplish. And it saves a huge amount of energy! It’s far more efficient than solar electric and much cheaper.
